Also, the setting and some of the themes in the game will be darker and more mature. I feel like every other monster taming game out there is going the super cute route to follow pokemon and I would like to do something different. That said I am trying to go for a more."aggressive" or "edgy" style to the game. Like with people we are going to try and get a few more emotions out of our monsters with various animations than just angry all the time. Heh, I didnt think he looked rabid, but I was going for a more aggressive pose with this one, maybe I went a little too far? He won't always look this angry though.

And I hope it's alright if I continue to post periodic updates about the game in this subreddit. I will be showing off a lot about the game this year as development progresses so if you would like to be kept in the loop please subscribe to the newsletter or follow us on Twitter. So if this sounds like something you would enjoy, please check out our site here: Biomancer And here is the reveal of our first creature! I hope Tiger fans like him. Krystone Games was formed and Biomancer is now getting the proper attention it deserves. Last August I was laid off from my full-time job in the usual way, "We finally shipped the game everyone, you are all fired" and took it as a sign to do what I have always wanted to do. I started work on it because I grew up on the Monster Rancher franchise and really believe it deserves a fresh reboot, and if Koei Tecmo isn't going to do it, someone has to. (I have posted about it here before) It started as a tabletop board game, then a 2D video game, and now reaching for its final form, a proper fully 3D Monster raising and battling strategy game. Biomancer is a game I have been working on in my free time for the last few years.
